Creating a new album cover for an existing band, Caravan Palace. This French electro-swing band combines jazz and swing elements with modern beats to form nostalgic dream-like music. The refresh design plays off the name of their existing album, Chronologic.

initial sketches
This refresh design plays off the name of their album, Chronologic. “Chrono-” which refers to time.
Inspired by a friend’s wrist watch that had a cartoon design in the middle of the clock dials. The hands of the watch were the arms of the cartoon character.
Caravan Palace has a robot character that is incorporated into their covers and music videos. This redesign will incorporate Caravan Palace’s mascot with an vintage watch for the LP refresh.
